What This Site Tracks
Nothing. No analytics, tracking, or cookies. You don't need to consent to anything to use this site. Fonts are served from this site directly, not via a third-party content delivery network (CDN).
What Happens When You Contact Us
When you email us or use the contact form, the message is delivered to our inbox so it can be read and replied to. We keep enquiry messages for as long as the conversation is active and a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Contact form submissions are received by a small program running on Cloudflare which checks for obvious spam and applies a short-term rate limit by IP address, then passes the message to Resend (a US-based email relay) for delivery to our inbox.
Hosting and Server Logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, URL) for security and abuse prevention.
Where Your Data Goes
Cloudflare operates a global network, so data sent to them may be processed outside the UK. We rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Cloudflare's standard contractual safeguards for those transfers.
Map tiles are served by the OpenStreetMap Foundation , a UK-registered charity; your IP address is sent to their tile servers when the map loads.
Contact form messages are relayed by Resend , which is based in the United States. We rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Resend's standard contractual safeguards for that transfer.
No other processors are involved.
Lawful Basis
- Enquiries: legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us).
- Server logs: legitimate interests (site security and abuse prevention).
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you,
- Ask for it to be corrected if it's wrong,
- Ask for it to be deleted,
- Object to or restrict how it's used,
- Ask for it in a portable format,
- Withdraw any consent you've given, where consent is the lawful basis.
We don't use automated decision-making or profiling. Email [email protected] to make any of these requests. If you're not happy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
